Welcome James Lardner and Jonathan Rowe
December 21, 2010 — Remapping Debate is pleased to announce that James Lardner and Jonathan Rowe will be joining our team of reporters.
James Lardner, who will be a Senior Staff Reporter, has written extensively about business, technology, the financial sector, and the role of regulation. His work has appeared in The New Yorker, The Washington Post, and The New York Review of Books, among other print and online publications. He comes to Remapping Debate from Demos, where he worked on reports and advocacy campaigns involving economic inequality, financial reform, and a variety of other subjects.
Jim was the co-editor (and a contributor to) “Inequality Matters: The Growing Economic Divide in America and Its Poisonous Consequences.”
Jonathan Rowe, who will be a Senior Contributing Reporter, is a former editor and current contributing editor at Washington Monthly, has worked as a staff writer for the Christian Science Monitor, and has contributed to Harper’s, the Atlantic Monthly, and Reader’s Digest. He hosts a weekly radio show on KWMR-FM in Point Reyes Station, California, and contributes to the local papers there — the West Marin Citizen and Point Reyes Light.
Jonathan is working slowly on two books — but he isn’t talking about them yet. He plays basketball on week-ends, and his jump shot is said to be coming along…slowly.
